CYBERTERROR TASK FORCE
** TEMPORARILY OUT OF SERVICE **
THIS SITE IS BEING SANITIZED FOR VIRUSES AND IS NOT A RELIABLE SOURCE OF GOVERNMENT INFORMATION. REFER TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE GOVERNMENT SITE.
The Cyberterror Task Force is currently being restructured. The agency is currently unable to complete a report on the events involving DevilsGame and will not comment on its findings at this time.
Please do note, however, the long established pattern of cyber attacks as reported by Slate and BGR below.
HACKING FACTS
Nearly HALF of all global DDoS cyberattacks come from China (43%).
Russian hackers are among the best in the world: While they commit fewer than 2% of all cyberattacks, they account for 35% of all global cybercrime revenue.
Cyberattacks
Revenue
Some hacks have stolen hundreds of millions of dollars from multiple targets in a single swift attack.
Cybercriminals send malicious code through e-mail attachments.
They send e-mails, disguised to be from co-workers, with the malware to unsuspecting bank employees
When employees open the attachments, the malware is automatically downloaded to their computers.
Cybercriminals can then spy on and learn the bank's daily routines in order to take advantage of the system.
The criminals can manipulate the bank accounts of game players...
...eventually transferring money into the criminals' own bank accounts.
